Katrina Pearce
Katrina Nicolayeff is a 3 time National Champion. She was born in Nampa and now lives in Boise with her husband Alex and their son, Alexander James. In October 2007 she competed in Nashville and won the title of Grand Master Fiddler Champion where she got the honor of playing at the Grand Ole Opry. She has been teaching fiddle for over 10 years. She serves as the Co-director for the Idaho Junior Jammer Fiddlers. TD>

Shanna Fehrs
Shanna began taking fiddle lessons at the age of 8 from Roberta Pearce. She was a member of the Idaho Junior Jammers for 10 years. She has performed and competed throughout the Northwest placing in the top 5 at the state and national level. At 17 she recorded her first album with 36-string swing friends Katrina(Pearce)Nicolayeff and Noah and Zach Jeffries. She has had the opportunity to study with many great fiddle players over the years including Tony Ludiker, Matthew Hartz, and Danita Rast. Most recently she studied with violin professor Craig Purdy at Boise State University where she earned her Bachelor=s Degree in Violin Performance. Shanna began teaching fiddle lessons when she was 15, and is currently a teacher for the Idaho Junior Jammers. Shanna loves playing with and teaching music to her children ( all of whom have fiddles ) and as a family they enjoy entertaining others. Shanna was recently a guest performer with the “Musettes” and is also a member of the Heritage Choir and Orchestra. Besides fiddling, Shanna enjoys being active, and is always working on something crafty. Most of all she enjoys spending time with her family. She lives in Nampa with her husband, Aaron, and their 4 small children ; Dylon , ( 8 ), Cadence, ( 5 ), Preslee Jo, ( 3 ), and Colton TJ, ( 1 ).

Ali Wilson
Ali Wilson's musical endeavors started at the age of 4 when she began piano lessons. When she was 8, her family saw the Junior Jammers and the Price family perform at a pancake breakfast in Nampa. She and her siblings (Hannah and Henry) were hooked, and that fall started taking fiddle lessons at Hartz Music in Meridian. Ali has won several contests, and has played in the certified division at Weiser. Her fiddling has taken her to contests all over the United States - Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, Texas, Kentucky and Tennessee. Ali is a 2011 graduate of Kuna High School and will be attending Northwest Nazarene University this fall.

Matt Hartz
Matthew Hartz is an artist shaped by countless musical influences. He established himself as champion fiddler in the 1980’s and early 1990's by winning: 1983, 1984,1985 Idaho State Grand Championship in Lewiston, Idaho. In the span of one year, from 1988-’89 Matthew won, “The Big Three”: The Grand National Fiddle Championship – Weiser Idaho, the Grand Master Fiddle Championship in Nashville, Tennessee and the World Fiddle Championships in Crockett,Texas. In addition, he has won the 1992 Texas State Grand Championship - Hallettsville Texas, the 1992 Grand National Fiddle Champion-Weiser, Idaho and the 1993,1995 Grand Masters Fiddle Champion-Nashville, Tennessee. Matthew has performed on the Grand Ole’ Opry. He continues to perform and record with his band, teach privately and at workshops, and will also be a judge at the National Fiddle Contest this year in Weiser.

Seth Mattison
Seth Mattison began playing the fiddle in 1994 as a student of Roberta Pearce. His 13 trophies from the National Oldtime Fiddlers’ Contest include a Junior-Junior and Junior championship and two top-five Grand National finishes. Seth is also a classical violinist who, in 2009, earned a highest-honors B.A. in music (violin concentration) with a minor in business administration from The College of Idaho where he studied with the English-born distinguished concertmaster Geoffrey Trabichoff. Seth has been a member of the Boise Philharmonic during the 2009-2010 (as Assistant Concertmaster) and 2010-2011 seasons. Additionally, he took a year of graduate music studies at Boise State University in 2009-2010 where he won both the season audition and the opportunity to play a concerto solo with the university symphony orchestra. He has also served as a judge for the National Oldtime Fiddlers’ Contest as well as the Boise Philharmonic Youth Orchestra’s concerto competition. Additionally, Seth is a private instructor. He has just completed an accounting degree from the College of Idaho and was named the 2011 Outstanding Accounting Graduate.
Mable Vogt
Mabel Vogt is a two time Idaho Grand Champion and three time Idaho Ladies Champion. In the nationals she has been a finalist in her division 8 times, and judged there 4 times. A third generation fiddler, Mabel started fiddling in 1972, after 20 years of violin experience, and says she is still learning. She has taught 30 years of private lessons, workshops and camps, and also leads a youth fiddle group. A retired university German instructor, she invites you to join her in Potlatch at an annual fiddle show on the lst Saturday of August

Skeeter Meyers
Skeeter Meyers has been playing the fiddle for over 30 years. Having played Old Time style for most of those years, she discovered Celtic fiddling about six years ago and found her musical calling. She has studied the Celtic genre of fiddling since then. Irish fiddling has been at the heart of her musical journey and she has studied the art of Irish fiddling including the musical differences between counties in Ireland, and enjoys playing a Scotts tune here and there. She is a three time Idaho State Champion and two time Idaho Open Celtic Champion. She enjoys music, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family.
